Currently on display in the collection exhibition room is When I Was 11… (2021-23), a video and written record of Komori Haruka and Seo Natsumi asking people in Miyagi Prefecture, ranging in age from 11 to their 90s, about what was memorable about being 11 years old, life opportunities, and what they felt was important. As a related program, we are holding a workshop for the production of "When I was 11…( in Hiroshima).” Participants interviewed and filmed nine people living in Hiroshima, and Komori and Seo worked with them to edit the interview footage and produce a written interview text.
We will hold a presentation to share the activities of the workshop and its results, with a screening of the video produced and a presentation of the text of the interviews.
