Kure City’s official mascot “Kureshi” is coming to the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art! Let’s enjoy viewing together the works related to Kure City that are currently on view in the special exhibition “Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of the Atomic Bomb: Between Memories and Objects”

Kureshi
A mascot created solely to promote the city of Kure with relentless enthusiasm. His face and name are directly taken from the city's name, and even the phonetic reading "Kure" is boldly written on his back. Every part of him is devoted to proudly and persistently showcasing Kure.
