Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, Former Telephone Booth

Graphic designer Tsuyoshi Okamoto and typography designer Yoshihide Okazawa launched the “Rebirth Typography Project” to coincidence with the reopening of the museum. For this project, they researched signage throughout Hiroshima City and materials related to the museum, and worked on creating typefaces and signage. This showcase presents materials related to the typefaces that served as the source for the signage currently in use at the museum.
