"339" Counter

This POP-UP exhibition introduces “Nuiten,” a plush toy artist duo primarily active in Hiroshima. Designed both for longtime Nuiten fans and for visitors discovering their work for the first time at the museum of contemporary art, the exhibition showcases their one-of-a-kind plush creations featuring mysterious and unconventional forms unlike anything seen before.

Nuiten
A sibling artist unit consisting of sato reo and sato mayo. Older brother sato reo is responsible for design, while younger brother sato mayo handles sewing and production. In addition to plush toys, they also create T-shirts, keychains, and handcrafted ceramic works. Their creations are available at the museum shop “339” and through the official Nuiten online shop, among other locations.
